Today is my first trip to the doctors office in Iceland. I’ve never been to a doctor anywhere other than Michigan for my entire adult life. and so far it has cost me the equivalent of $3.52 to see a nurse and an actual doctor as a walk-in.
Iceland Week 1 ✅
Our first full week living in Iceland has passed. My permits have been extended for another two years and we might finally get a new car in the next month or two…
We finally found some cool things to take our daughter to while we wait for her to be properly registered as a resident here which has provided some stress relief.
Some things are still weird but I’m not sure randomly seeing beautiful scenery from my office or from trips to the hardware store will ever get old.
Finally went all-in on micro.blog and mastodon. Going to try out using my own blog with micro.blog for everything going forward. Really love the activitypub/mastodon support here @manton!
